Myanmar's military regime has declared the United Nations' opposition group a terrorist group and accused it of involvement in bombings, arson and killings. There have been reports of daily bombings as militant groups are formed to confront the army.
Anti-military protesters have continued protests across the country and anti-revolutionary strikes have weakened the country's economy.
On Saturday, protests continued in several areas against the military regime. About 774 people have been killed by security forces and 3,778 are being held in custody. The national unity government, made up of ousted lawmakers, announced this week the launch of a civilian defense force.
Myanmar's military has been trying to restore order since overthrowing a civilian government in February and detaining its leader Aung San Suu Kyi.
