Fraga is struggling to join Simba SC.

It has been reported that the wife of Brazilian midfielder Gerson Fraga has barred her husband from coming to Tanzania to try out, after receiving a call from Football Champions Simba SC.

Fraga was rumored to be joining the Simba SC squad on the island of Unguja-Zanzibar for a trial before being reinstated in the squad.

According to reports, the midfielder's wife, who rose to prominence among Simba SC fans and members following a jihadist attack on the midfield, has restrained her husband from believing he should not be tested.

Fraga's wife believes Simba SC officials should have registered her husband directly as he had previously served the club before his contract was terminated last season.

Fraga left Simba SC after suffering a knee injury in a Premier League game against Gwambina FC and was replaced by midfielder Thadeo Lwanga.

The injury to the Ugandan midfielder has prompted Fraga's reinstatement, but the plan seems to be stalling.
