Teboho Moloi has explained to Siya crew why he is not the head coach of Linare FC of the Lesotho Premier League.
The former Chippa United coach was appointed Linare coach in 2020 but was removed from his coaching position, but remains part of the club's mentorship. Speaking to Siya crew, Moloi has confirmed that he has another opportunity outside of football that he has decided to take.
"I got an offer to be an ambassador for one of the local companies, so I will need to be there all the time. for the coach I think he understands the philosophy that I was trying to put into the club, "the former Orlando Pirates assistant coach told Siya crew.
"This role is different from football, I no longer feel coaching especially in South Africa, the doors are closed, and it is not something I am prepared to fight and it ends there, South Africa in football. It will also end. They will go to the polls at the end of the season I think. If he does not win the election, my role in football is over. I will be busy with something else. I want to assure the fans that I am still part of the team because they were worried. I have talked to them about finding someone who has the same vision as me and it will be clean. But when he did not take it, I had assistants who were working with me who could do the job, because sometimes when I was at home I was giving them team training programs and they did well. I know if they are given that job, they can achieve what we wanted to get with the team.
"Let's see what happens, but I will not leave the team for as long as the president is still working, it is that the job I have here in South Africa needs me all the time, and not the coaching job. Calm down, I will tell you more about this work. My involvement with you is greater than football.
