The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has apologized to football stakeholders after the failure of the Tanzania Mainland Premier League match between the traditional hometowns, Simba and Yanga scheduled to take place yesterday at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam following a temporary dispute.
A statement from TFF this morning stated that they have instructed the Tanzania Premier League Board (TPLB) to provide detailed information on the postponement of the game as well as to address the fate of football fans who paid for entry into the Stadium.
Yesterday at 8:33 pm TFF issued a statement to postpone the match from 11:00 pm to 1:00 pm, saying it had received an order from the Ministry of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports to do so, although it did not specify the reason.
