North Korea has ignored the idea of holding talks with the United States a day after the US administration said it was ready for diplomatic talks on North Korea's abandonment of its nuclear program.
North Korea has said it is not ready to hold talks with the United States, calling it a nation that uses fake diplomacy to cover up its acts of aggression.
The nation has also warned US President Joe Biden against taking what they call an outdated stance and warned that the United States will suffer the consequences by provoking North Korea.
North Korea made the statement just days after President Biden told the US Congress that his administration would use diplomacy as well as a firm stance on North Korea's nuclear goals.
