Members of the CCM Special General Assembly have elected Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, to be the Chairman of the party with 1862 votes or 100% of the total vote.
Announcing the results of the election the Chairman of the Election who is the Speaker of the National Assembly of the United Republic of Tanzania Hon. Job Ndugai has said no vote no.
"The total number of votes cast was 1876, no ballot was cast and not a single no vote, so he has won 100 percent," said Job Ndugai.
