Liverpool have moved a step closer to signing Mohamed Salah from Roma, after the winger agreed personal terms in principle in a meeting with Jurgen Klopp, according to Sky in Italy.
Sky in Italy understand that Salah met with Klopp in Liverpool in the last few days, but the clubs are yet to agree a fee and Roma are holding out for £35m (€40m).
Sky sources reported last week that Liverpool had seen an initial £28m offer rejected for the Egypt international but remained in talks over a potential deal.
